Hello there! and welcome to my first blog post here, in this new space - it’s lovely to welcome you here. This is going to be a space for celebrating all things creativity, yoga, meditation and self development…basically a space I can wax lyrical and talk about the things that I love and I believe make for a life filled with inspiration, fulfilment and purpose. I’ll be sharing tips and suggestions which I have found helpful when life gets sticky or throws a curved ball at you, in the hope that it might help you too.

Today for this first post I wanted to share a poem; one of my faves Wild Geese by Mary Oliver. It leaves me feeling hopeful & inspired to keep moving forward and it reminds us that if you listen carefully you’ll hear what is calling you.

Wild Geese
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting–
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
